Originally from Salina, Kansas (the small town smack dab in the middle of the state smack dab in the middle of the country), Aaron J. Dix is a New York based actor, singer, ✨lover✨ and a proud graduate of The Boston Conservatory, where he graduated (on Zoom) Summa Cum NADA. You can watch it happen RIGHT HERE!
Some of Aaron's favorite credits from BoCo include Jason Dean in Heathers, Chip Tolentino in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Death in Everybody (on ZOOM).
Back in Aaron's hometown, Salina, he was the 2017 Volunteer Awards Gala winner for his performance as Patsy in Spamalot at Theatre Salina, where he was also nominated for his performance as Tim in Noises Off. He also received many accolades for his performance as Melchior Gabor in Spring Awakening.
Most recently, Aaron has been seen in various concerts, cabarets, and showcases at venues like The Green Room 42, Don't Tell Mama, & 54 Below. You can currently see him as one of the singing servers at Gayle's Broadway Rose at Friedman's at the Edison Hotel.
Aaron is an avid VHS collector. Over the years, he has amassed a collection of 500+ VHS tapes, ranging from obscure B-movie schlock to Saturday Morning Cartoons to the Disney classics you probably had as a kid (They're not as rare as you think they are). He's very proud of how large the collection has gotten - and yes, he will talk about them for hours if you ask him...
